Fees and Rebates

Medicare Rebates for Psychology Sessions

Accessing professional psychological support can be more affordable with Medicare rebates.

Here’s how it works:

Visit Your GP – Book an appointment to discuss your concerns. If eligible, your GP will create a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).
Send Us Your MHCP or Bring it with You – Either you or your GP can email the plan to us at SteadyWayPsychology@Gmail.com or bring it with you in person to your first session.
Book Your Session – Call 0489 249 458 or email us to schedule your first appointment.

🔹 Note: Your MHCP can be used with us, no matter who the referral is made out to.

NDIS and Other Services

Steady Way also offers psychological support for individuals on the NDIS, helping participants work towards their goals under their NDIS plan. If you are funded for therapeutic supports, we’d be happy to discuss how we can assist you.

The fee for a standard, 50-minute session, is $194. If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $98.95. This means the out-of-pocket cost for each session is $95.05.

Please note that the full amount of $194 is required to be paid upfront. The Medicare rebate will then be processed and should enter your account within 48 hours.
